About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage order flow to ensure daily requirements are fulfilled
Coordinate special warehouse projects and support personnel needing assistance
Maintain customer relationships by responding to inquiries and complaints
Mentor and train new and existing associates on distribution activities and Standard Operating Procedures
Assist with forklift operation and certification
Direct CSR team operations and assist with productivity, payroll-hour capture, staffing, and schedules
Coordinate inbound and outbound activity for assigned accounts
Process and input customer orders
Run and print shipments from the WMS and generate stock reports
Prepare work-order paperwork and verify special requests
Expedite and trace orders and notify customers of merchandise activity
Verify customer invoicing and process returned merchandise credits
Liaise between warehouse, office, and customers regarding accounts, invoicing, and credit changes
Prepare activity reports and research shipping and receiving discrepancies
Perform data entry, filing, copying, faxing, labeling, and other clerical duties
Verify receiving and shipping documents, counts, packing lists, purchase orders, and picking documents
Answer phones, greet visitors, assist drivers, and route calls
Support warehouse inventory oversight and cross-train in administrative functions
Participate in safety programs and work overtime as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to report inconsistencies or problems to the Supervisor or Operations Manager
Ability to manage order flow and fulfill daily requirements
Customer service experience handling inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, and related matters
Ability to mentor and train associates in distribution activities and Standard Operating Procedures
Ability to assist with forklift operation and certification
Ability to direct CSR team operations and assist with workforce scheduling
Proficiency operating computer terminals and entering and verifying order, shipment, receipt, inventory, and adjustment data
Ability to prepare accurate reports and shipping/receiving documentation
Ability to answer and route telephone calls and assist customers, drivers, and visitors
Willingness to work overtime as dictated by business needs
Willingness to participate in safety programs and follow company policies and procedures
