About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support European partners with enquiries
  • Manage bookings from UK-based customers
  • Deal with day-to-day enquiries related to UK import shipments
  • Investigate issues and liaise with internal DSV UK departments
  • Communicate with customers, partners and internal departments via email and telephone
  • Update and verify the DSV Order Management System with customer booking and customs details
  • Liaise with operations and overseas offices to ensure customer commitments are delivered
  • Monitor deliveries to ensure completion within agreed timelines
  • Ensure collection consignments contain correct information
  • Proactively solve problems with customers and colleagues
  • Resolve credit management queries where necessary
  • Perform general day-to-day administrative duties
  • Report to the customer service supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experienced customer services administrator
  • Proactive, organised and punctual
  • Inquisitive and motivated
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Understanding and compliance with customs regulations when transporting freight from Europe
  • Successful candidates must undergo necessary right-to-work checks
  • Certain sites require 5-years’ worth of referencing and criminal record checks
