About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management
Handle customer material movement requests
Assemble and install servers and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
Perform quality checks for accurate part numbers, quantities, and material condition
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical datacenter spare parts
Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems
Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy
Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks using diagrams and schematics
Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
Maintain workplace safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
Interact with customers and stakeholders on site at the datacenter
Make informed decisions based on information and data to meet production goals effectively, accurately, and efficiently

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-3 years of related experience required
Good interpersonal and customer service skills required
Critical thinking abilities and good analytical skills
Experience with computers required
Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols required
Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
Ability to perform all essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation
Must pass required federal/state/local government, airport, or company background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
Ability to be flexible and cross-train in multiple departments within the datacenter
