About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide and maintain material orders, customer service, and inventory management
- Handle customer material movement requests
- Assemble and install servers and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
- Perform quality checks on freight, part numbers, quantities, and material condition
- Execute inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts
- Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems
- Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy
- Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks according to diagrams and schematics
- Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
- Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
- Perform cleanup activities and maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
- Adhere daily to safety and process procedures
- Interact with customers and stakeholders on site at the datacenter
- Collaborate and cross-train across multiple datacenter departments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of related experience required
- Experience with computers required
- Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols required
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills required
- Critical thinking and good analytical skills
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to pass required federal, state, local government, airport, or company background checks and clearances
- Must be able to pass required drug and alcohol tests
- Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
- Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
