About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management
  • Handle customer material movement requests
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
  • Perform quality checks on part numbers, quantities, and material condition
  • Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical datacenter spare parts
  • Process returns of electronic components using warehouse management systems
  • Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy
  • Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks according to diagrams and schematics
  • Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
  • Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Maintain work-area safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
  • Interact with customers and onsite stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3 years of related experience
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Experience with computers
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
  • Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
  • Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must pass required federal, state, local government, airport, or company background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
  • Ability to work flexibly and cross-train in multiple departments within the datacenter
