About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide and maintain material orders, customer service, inventory management, and customer material movement requests
  • Assemble and install servers and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
  • Perform quality checks on freight, part numbers, quantities, and material condition
  • Execute inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical datacenter spare parts
  • Process return shipments using warehouse management systems
  • Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices
  • Install electronic components, cabling, and rack hardware according to diagrams and schematics
  • Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Maintain work-area safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
  • Adhere to safety and process procedures and support cross-training across datacenter departments
  • Interact with customers and onsite stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3 years of related experience
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Experience with computers
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
  • Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must pass required federal/state/local government, airport, or company background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, laser measuring devices, material handling equipment, and warehouse management systems
