About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Load and unload inbound and outbound freight from vehicles and containers
Perform quality checks on freight, including part numbers, quantities, and material condition
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical datacenter spare parts
Process return shipments of electronic components using warehouse management systems
Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy
Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks using diagrams and schematics
Install rack hardware with hand, power, and measuring tools
Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Perform cleanup activities to maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
Provide and maintain material orders, customer service, inventory management, and customer material movement requests
Interact with customers and onsite stakeholders and build positive working relationships
Make informed decisions based on data to meet production goals accurately and efficiently
Maintain daily adherence to safety and process procedures, punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, and quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-3 years of related experience
Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Critical thinking and good analytical skills
Experience with computers
Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Must pass required federal/state/local government, airport, or company background checks and clearances
Must pass required drug and alcohol tests
Must be flexible and able to cross-train in multiple datacenter departments
Must be able to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
