About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
- Perform quality checks on freight, part numbers, quantities, and material condition
- Execute inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical datacenter spare parts
- Process return shipments using warehouse management systems
- Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices
- Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks according to diagrams and schematics
- Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
- Operate material handling equipment
- Clean work areas to maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
- Provide material orders, customer service, inventory management, and customer material movement support
- Interact with customers and onsite stakeholders and collaborate across working groups
- Make confident, accurate, and efficient decisions to meet production goals
- Maintain safety and process procedures, punctuality, reliability, quality, and flexibility for cross-training
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of related experience
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Experience with computers
- Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
- Ability to pass required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
- Ability to operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, diagrams, and schematics
