About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight from vehicles and containers
- Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, including part numbers, quantities, and material condition
- Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical datacenter spare parts
- Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
- Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy
- Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks according to diagrams and schematics
- Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
- Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
- Perform cleanup activities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards
- Provide effective material orders, customer service, inventory management, and material movement support
- Assemble and install servers and electronic components
- Interact with customers and onsite stakeholders and collaborate with different working groups
- Maintain daily adherence to safety and process procedures
- Remain punctual, reliable, flexible, and able to cross-train in multiple datacenter departments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-3 years of related experience required
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Critical thinking and good analytical skills
- Experience with computers required
- Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols required
- Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
- Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to pass required federal/state/local government, airport, or company background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
- Ability to work the specified D shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Thursday/Friday and 6:00am-6:30pm Saturday/Sunday
