About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise production associates performing loading and unloading of freight
  • Oversee material accounting using multiple systems
  • Oversee assembly and installation of server racks and components
  • Organize and coordinate cycle counts, inventory replenishments, and material returns
  • Ensure safety measures protect personnel and property
  • Advise subordinates on work-related questions and problems
  • Monitor work and production areas for accuracy, neatness, and policy compliance
  • Recommend and implement documented procedure changes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
  • Perform or assist subordinates with their duties
  • Maintain service level agreements using existing systems and tools
  • Ensure subordinates follow safety protocols and standards
  • Interact frequently with customers, peers, site stakeholders, and subordinates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Solid interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Must be able to pass federal, state, local government, airport, or company-required background checks and clearances
  • Must be able to pass required drug and alcohol tests
  • Generally preferred: 3–6 years’ experience in material handling operations
  • Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
