About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management
Handle customer material movement requests
Assemble and install servers and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
Oversee loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight
Manage shipping documents and records
Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts
Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems
Place server racks on the datacenter floor with laser measuring devices
Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks using diagrams and schematics
Install rack hardware
Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
Oversee and perform cleanup activities to maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
Delegate and coach team members
Interact with customers and stakeholders at the datacenter

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of related experience
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Critical thinking abilities and strong analytical skills
Experience with computers
Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Must pass required federal/state/local government, airport, or company background checks and clearances
Must pass required drug and alcohol tests
Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
