About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management
Handle customer material movement requests
Oversee loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight
Manage shipping documents and records
Perform quality checks on freight, part numbers, quantities, and material condition
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical datacenter spare parts
Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
Oversee and perform server rack placement on the datacenter floor with laser measuring devices
Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks using diagrams and schematics
Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
Operate material handling equipment
Oversee and perform work-area cleanup in accordance with safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
Maintain safety and process procedures, punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, and quality
Flexibly cross-train across multiple datacenter departments
Delegate and coach team members
Interact with customers and onsite stakeholders and build positive working relationships
Make confident, accurate, and efficient production decisions using information and data

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years of related experience required
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Critical thinking and strong analytical skills
Experience with computers required
Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Must pass required federal/state/local government, airport, or company background checks and clearances
Must pass required drug and alcohol tests
Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
Ability to operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, laser measuring devices, and follow diagrams and schematics
