About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, including part numbers, quantities, and material condition
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts at the datacenter
Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy
Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks according to diagrams and schematics
Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Clean up the work area to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards
Maintain daily adherence to safety and process procedures
Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, and focus on quality
Remain flexible and cross-train in multiple datacenter departments
Regularly interact with customers and onsite stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-3 years of related experience
Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Critical thinking and good analytical skills
Experience with computers
Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
Ability to regularly interact with customers and other stakeholders on site at the datacenter
Ability to forge positive working relationships with different working groups
Ability to make confident decisions based on provided information and data
Ability to meet production goals effectively, accurately, and efficiently
Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
Ability to work assigned shifts, including daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
