About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage a team of program managers supporting assigned customers, projects, and initiatives
Hire new team members and ensure proper induction
Balance workloads and ensure adherence to service standards and customer SOW SLAs
Support development of proposal and presentation materials communicating DSV's capabilities, value propositions, and approach to supply chain challenges
Use basic and advanced supply chain modelling tools as needed
Identify data needs and lead technical analysis for solution development
Address ambiguous situations and critical scoping gaps through effective assumptions
Manage proof-of-concept demonstrations using customer data
Manage system setup for customer integration projects, including EDI/API and other integration methodologies
Lead operational design and process optimization for new business
Reduce complexity and cost to serve while increasing differentiation and quality
Lead communication and collaboration with internal cross-functional departments and external stakeholders
Interface directly with customers throughout solution design initiatives
Monitor supply chain industry information, trends, innovations, and technology
Represent the Americas region's needs in global and local product development
Provide leadership and structure for implementation methodologies
Review external client demands and develop project plans
Ensure implementations are completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations
Ensure the global implementation structure supports the American region's timely implementation needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

High level of business acumen
Exceptional financial planning, critical thinking, communication, delegation, diversity management, leadership, decision-making, and influencing skills
Results orientation and ability to attract, develop, and motivate others
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
Advanced degree or equivalent preferred
10–15 years of related management experience
10+ years of relevant experience in Purchase Order Management required
Focus on Retail / Fashion / consumer / automotive inbound supply chains
Relevant ERP knowledge required
Experience with Infor Nexus' order management platform required
Strong knowledge about Origin Processes in Asia required
Proven track record with customers that have their own carrier contracts
Relevant experience setting up freight management for large-scale companies
Ability to transfer data-driven processes into value-adding solutions
Fluency in English required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Unquestionable integrity and moral character
Ability to negotiate extremely difficult matters involving internal and external policy-making bodies
