About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate daily airfreight export shipments for a diverse international customer portfolio
Plan incoming cargo flows with subcontractors and logistics partners
Manage transportation of perishable goods while ensuring speed, accuracy, and product integrity
Provide customers with timely updates and customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle
Maintain high data quality and accurate administration within operational systems
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and airfreight regulations
Work in a permanent night shift as part of the dedicated Perishables team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Initial experience in freight forwarding, preferably within airfreight, or a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Transport & Logistics
Willingness to work a permanent night shift
Availability for shifts between 18:00 and 04:12
Availability for one weekend per month between 06:00 and 14:00
Fluent communication in Dutch, French, and English
Valid category B driving licence
Accuracy, customer focus, stress resistance, proactivity, and problem-solving ability
Ability to work in a dynamic logistics environment
