About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with the Import Air team to ensure quality and accuracy of delivered work
Carry out import workflow processes according to management directives, customer instructions, SOPs, and specified requirements
Establish and maintain relationships with DSV customers, suppliers, and service providers locally and overseas
Resolve Import Air issues with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders, and customers
Enter data accurately and promptly into CW1
Plan and prioritize Import shipments from Import Workbenches to achieve milestones, KPIs, and deadlines
Plan and prioritize transport from CTO to DSV and from DSV to the specified delivery within KPI
Calculate invoice costings, GST, weights, and measures relating to load sizes and space availability
Implement and monitor process improvements
Support the Air Freight Manager, Imports, with day-to-day activities and additional tasks and projects
Liaise with the transit warehouse regarding cargo availability for delivery

Ability to carry out import workflow processes in accordance with management directives, customer instructions, SOPs, and specified requirements
Ability to establish and maintain client relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers locally and overseas
Ability to problem solve Import Air issues with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders, and customers
Accurate and timely data entry into CW1
Ability to plan and prioritize import shipments to meet milestones, KPIs, and deadlines
Ability to plan and prioritize transport requirements within KPI
Ability to calculate invoice costings, GST, weights, and measures related to load sizes and space availability
Ability to implement and monitor process improvements
