About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and coordinate import shipments by sea end to end
  • Organize transportation and arrange delivery to the final destination
  • Handle shipment documentation, including bills of lading, customs documents, invoices, and other paperwork
  • Coordinate customs clearance
  • Serve as the primary customer contact and provide shipment progress updates
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues
  • Select suitable carriers and negotiate rates and terms
  • Arrange transportation from origin to final destination
  • Verify and process documents for regulatory compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 2 years of experience within Freight Forwarding (Seafreight)
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English
  • Fluent in learning new computer programs
  • IMDG + Codex training preferred
