About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure compliance with workplace Health and Safety legislation
  • Prevent and train employees for emergency situations
  • Support hazard identification and risk assessment for jobs and work environments
  • Participate in developing, implementing, monitoring and updating prevention and protection plans
  • Develop occupational health and safety instructions with managers and external prevention and protection services
  • Supervise implementation of safety measures, instructions and employee training
  • Prepare company-level training and testing programs
  • Establish workplace health and safety signage requirements
  • Maintain records of regulated professions, medical examinations and psychological assessments
  • Support internal workplace controls and report deficiencies and corrective measures
  • Identify, manage and replace required personal protective equipment
  • Participate in incident investigations, records and work-accident reports
  • Follow up on measures ordered by labour inspectors
  • Coordinate prevention and protection measures with workers, representatives, occupational medicine and external services
  • Update protection, prevention and evacuation plans
  • Serve as secretary of the Health and Safety at Work Committee
  • Manage cleaning, maintenance and security service providers
  • Coordinate building access, employee badges, office spaces and parking
  • Organize training sessions and internal events
  • Coordinate office relocations and workspace setup projects
  • Monitor sustainability objectives and collect energy, water and waste data
  • Maintain internal procedures, mandatory declarations and compliance documentation
  • Support internal and external audits

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in health & safety domain
  • Very good knowledge of health and safety legislation and prevention of emergency situations
  • Technical studies completed
  • Health and safety training with a minimum content according to annex no. 6 lit. B, HG no. 1425/2006, lasting at least 80 hours
  • Very good knowledge of OHSAS 18001: 2004 and ISO 14001: 2005 standards
  • Ability to train employees in Health and Safety and Prevention of Emergency Situations
  • Authority to carry out inspections verifying compliance with Health and Safety legislation and prevention of emergency situations
  • Competence to represent the company before authorized control and inspection institutions
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
  • Advanced written and spoken English
  • Very good organizational skills
  • Ability to work with different data, multiple information and prioritize activities
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team and cooperate
  • Results orientation, proactivity and positive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
