About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage inventory to ensure compliance with customer-required KPIs
- Control inventory for forecasted sales and scheduled distribution
- Monitor and update master schedules for inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting, and administrative controls
- Manage inventory using WMS and financial systems
- Ensure inventory accuracy between systems
- Identify failed transactions, troubleshoot root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Analyze inventory issues and drive process or IT solutions to prevent recurrence
- Coordinate corrective actions for system variances with responsible staff and local operations teams
- Monitor and resolve inbound and outbound order issues
- Manage returns and quarantined products
- Support physical inventory accuracy in the WMS with site leadership
- Coordinate with the Quality Manager to update Work Instructions when system-flow changes are needed
- Provide daily Pareto Analysis to site leadership for shift meeting boards
- Maintain relationships with inventory owners across the customer network
- Manage aged inventory and produce actionable reports
- Coordinate movement of aged materials and verify order status
- Identify open orders daily and drive actions to close them
- Drive periodic client-requested inventory purges
- Minimize inventory discrepancies, resolve inventory issues timely, meet customer inventory KPIs, support order demand, and minimize aged inventory
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, and/or JDA strongly preferred
- 2–4 years’ experience with WMS applications required
- Strong speaking, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work independently and make crucial decisions
- Adept with computer software, especially databases and spreadsheets
- Must be able to pass federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Must perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
