About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct cycle counts
  • Report inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain inventory KPIs
  • Count and inspect products
  • Notify leadership of damages or discrepancies
  • Use pallet jacks, order pickers, and scissor lifts to pick, scan, and locate products
  • Generate inventory reports from the WMS
  • Enter inventory data and KPI results accurately
  • Assist other departments as a general warehouse associate when needed
  • Pick and stage orders to fulfill client demands
  • Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products
  • Verify products and orders meet quality standards
  • Follow safety protocols, SOPs, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS standards
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assist with warehouse security
  • Maintain equipment and report equipment problems
  • Perform or assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MHE License – Certified through DSV
  • Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills to verify quantities, count inventory, and perform warehouse duties
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to use computer and telephone equipment
  • Ability to work in the described warehouse environment
  • Preferred: 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment
  • Preferred: current or prior MHE certification
