About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain perpetual record integrity and inventory accuracy within the facility
- Maximize space utilization and monitor inventory levels and product movement
- Control and isolate non-conforming or damaged product
- Oversee inventory associates and other staff
- Input data accurately into the WMS
- Develop and monitor space layout and product locator systems
- Delegate work and oversee scheduled shifts
- Analyze cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and audit error reports
- Analyze WMS reports, stock transactions, receipts, and issues
- Lead physical inventory activities
- Drive process improvements and prepare monthly reports
- Maintain client relationships
- Assist with associate relations, training, and development
- Audit the warehouse for safety, security, quality, cleanliness, and orderliness
- Communicate with DSV representatives and clients and complete operational reports
- Conduct startup meetings and coordinate daily objectives with management
- Develop team leaders and ensure associate expectations are met
- Communicate policies and procedures with leadership
- Ensure training on product placement and equipment usage
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 4 years’ experience in Distribution/Logistics
- 2 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment in a supervisory role
- Able to operate MHE
- Able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures during warmer and colder months
- Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required
- Willingness to work mandatory or voluntary overtime as dictated by business
