Inventory Controller
DSV - Global Transport and Logistics. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods
- Enter data into inventory management system accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain organized and clean inventory storage areas
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols
- Assist in the preparation of regular inventory reports
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or related field
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics
- Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- Experience with cycle counting or other inventory control methods
- Familiarity with quality control procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software
- Experience working in a regulated environment, such as food or pharmaceuticals
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Strong computer skills
