About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide shipping and receiving support for the department
- Purchase items for the maintenance department
- Order stock and non-stock items
- Process routine forms, reports, and documents in accordance with policy
- Communicate with co-workers, subordinates, and higher authority
- Ship and receive supplies and parts
- Purchase maintenance parts and supplies
- Distribute parts and packages to appropriate persons or departments
- Maintain cleanliness of the parts department, storage bins, and lockers
- Maintain purchase order and inventory records
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices
- Interact regularly with peers and management on moderately complex matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Entry-level position
- Solid interpersonal and analytical skills required
- Generally prefer 0–2 years of related experience
- Must be capable of performing all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Excellent radio and phone skills etiquette
