About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and manage the movement of goods from suppliers to customers
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure shipments are delivered on time and according to customer specifications
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs documentation
- Track shipments and manage inventory levels
- Resolve shipping issues, including delays, damages, and lost shipments
- Maintain accurate records of shipping transactions
- Monitor transportation costs and work to minimize expenses
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not required
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred
- Experience working in a transportation or logistics company is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required
- Experience using transportation management software is a plus
- Fluency in English is required
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus
