About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote and support safety initiatives and workplace safety standards
- Oversee inventory control activities, including cycle counts and random audits, in line with network counting methodologies and SOX compliance requirements
- Monitor inventory accuracy, quality metrics, and product integrity
- Evaluate customer complaints and defect trends and implement corrective action plans
- Investigate inventory variances and determine root causes
- Lead fulfillment network quality and operational excellence initiatives across multiple sites
- Support workforce planning, forecasting, and allocation of tasks and resources
- Manage and mentor Inventory Supervisors and hourly Inventory Control and Quality Assurance associates
- Direct ICQA leadership activities and drive team accountability
- Champion continuous improvement, team capability development, employee engagement, and retention
- Ensure consistent execution of fulfillment center workflows, process exceptions, and operational standards
- Review KPIs and conduct audits and analyses affecting inventory accuracy
- Partner with department leaders on critical projects, operational initiatives, and system improvements
- Collaborate with Loss Prevention on security policies and procedures
- Work with Operations Managers, Senior Operations Managers, and General Managers on communication and process compliance
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting management team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Preferred 5 years’ experience in a medium to large warehouse in a management capacity
- 2 years’ experience as an Inventory Manager
- Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures during warmer and colder months
- Strong computer skills and MS Office applications
- Experience with RF scanners
- Experience with WMS functions
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Satisfactory completion of forklift training program
- Quality-related certifications preferred
- English reading, writing, and verbal skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Intermediate-level mathematical skills for verifying quantities and counting inventory
- Effective communication, supervisory, and people skills
- Ability to develop work instructions, procedures, and visual aids
- Willingness to work extra hours as dictated by business needs
- Training and/or certification in inventory management methodologies and tools such as Six Sigma and Lean
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to teach, coach, mentor, and support project team members
- Ability to foster continuous improvement
- Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull 21–50 pounds
- Ability to reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel
- Must wear PPE when necessary and follow safety standards

Comp & perks- Base pay range of $82,560.00–$123,840.00
