Key responsibilities & impact

Define and enforce Power BI roles, responsibilities, and governance frameworks
Develop and maintain data access policies aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements
Establish standards for data quality, security, and consistency
Audit Power BI usage, reports, and datasets for compliance
Maintain governance documentation and provide stakeholder resources
Lead training sessions and workshops on Power BI best practices
Identify, connect to, clean, transform, and model organizational data using Power Query and DAX
Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
Monitor report performance and user engagement, gathering feedback for improvements
Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability
Design and build Power Apps integrated with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, and APIs
Conduct usability testing and enhance application functionality
Maintain, update, troubleshoot, and resolve Power Apps issues
Create user documentation and training materials
Identify tasks suitable for automation and optimize existing workflows
Develop Power Automate workflows with refresh scheduling, error handling, alerts, and notifications
Monitor automation performance and document workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5+ years of experience
Strong experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate (Power Platform)
Proficiency in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query
Experience with data integration and multiple data sources
Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance principles
Knowledge of workflow automation and process optimization
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Strong stakeholder collaboration
User-focused design mindset
Continuous improvement and innovation
Ability to manage multiple Power Platform components
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication, documentation, and training abilities
