About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate inbound shipments with Customers, transport providers and internal teams.
Maintain accurate shipment records and database information to ensure full traceability.
Support operational teams with customer-focused solutions.
Receive, process data and transfer data between transport management systems.
Book shipments with Customers.
Communicate efficiently with customers and operations team & Partners to resolve queries.
Manage / monitor shipments until completion.
Meet customers' requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their cargo in accordance with company operational procedures and statutory requirements including Health & Safety.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in a customer service, logistics, transport or operational support role
Enjoy working in a target-driven team environment.
Be self-motivated with drive and initiative.
Be proficient in current software options - Microsoft Excel, Word.
Good verbal, written communication and listening skills.
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high service standards.
Successful candidates must undergo necessary right-to-work checks.
Certain sites require 5-years’ worth of referencing and background checks.
