About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support rate acquisition and spot quote processing activities
- Deliver accurate and timely quotations according to customer requirements and service standards
- Maintain process documentation, including Process Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures, with the Account Owner
- Communicate with Account Owners, stakeholders, and DSV country pricing departments
- Update overview and monthly performance reports for the spot process
- Act as a central resource for spot pricing queries
- Review and validate pricing submissions through quality, logical, and plausibility checks
- Propose and implement agreed process improvements and optimizations
- Acknowledge and reply to spot-process emails within customer SLAs
- Work with Key Account Managers to tailor customer presentations and provide business updates during operational calls
- Complete ad hoc spot-process tasks requested by the Team Lead or SPE
- Comply with internal regulations, procedures, laws, and management orders
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with DSV values
- Participate in training and ongoing self-education
Requirements
What you’ll need- College / University Graduate; Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain and Industrial Engineering studies are preferable
- English language at least at a B2 level
- At least 1–2 years of experience working in a freight forwarding or shipping line shared service setup
- Customer-facing experience handling on-demand requests
- Exposure to sales and commercial activities in the logistics sector is advantageous
- Understanding of Incoterms and their application to international shipments
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently, including under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills for data analysis, reporting, and communication
- Comfortable navigating web-based applications and using online resources
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and maintain focus under pressure
