About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce accurate and timely quotes within the defined pricing system for Operations or Sales customer requests
- Work with sales and operations teams to understand customer needs and develop pricing proposals
- Analyze pricing data and trends to identify areas requiring pricing strategy attention and optimization
- Monitor individual pricing performance and identify opportunities to improve business wins
- Collaborate with departments to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives
- Support maintenance of pricing databases
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in a pricing or analytical role in the transportation and logistics industry, or 6+ years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with large amounts of data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
- Fluent in English, oral and written
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or a related field is preferred
- Experience with pricing in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred
- Experience in transportation and logistics operations is preferred
