About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce accurate and timely quotes within the defined pricing system to support Operations or Sales customer requests
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to understand customer needs and develop pricing proposals
- Analyze pricing data and trends to identify areas where pricing strategies need attention and optimization
- Monitor individual pricing performance and identify areas where improvements are needed to win business
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives
- Support maintenance of the pricing databases
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in a pricing or analytical role in the transportation and logistics industry
- 6+ years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with large amounts of data
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience with pricing in the transportation and logistics industry (preferred)
- Experience in transportation and logistics operations (preferred)
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (preferred)
