About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate UK and international shipments to exhibitions and events
  • Provide on-site representation and site management / coordination at venues across the world
  • Provide excellent customer service to a wide range of clients and industries
  • Control costs, manage budgets and maintain accounts housekeeping
  • Work with the Fairs & Events team based at ExCel Centre, London
  • Provide expert exhibition freight forwarding to events globally
  • Travel internationally and spend time away from the office

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Good working knowledge of all modes of freight forwarding / Customs
  • Previous background in the exhibition logistics industry is ideal
  • Multi modal freight forwarding / Customs experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including face to face interaction
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in an organised and efficient manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Ability to work away from home for periods of a few days to three weeks, possibly at short notice
  • Ability to work from the London, ExCel Centre office 5 days a week
  • Successful candidates must undergo necessary right-to-work checks
  • Certain sites require 5-years’ worth of referencing and criminal record checks
