About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, budget, oversee, and document projects related to new business implementation and existing business initiatives in contract logistics
- Manage implementations focused on warehousing and distribution centers
- Work with clients and DSV leadership to keep projects on schedule, within scope, and on budget
- Align client and business input to define project scope
- Create detailed project schedules with milestones, critical-path tasks, dependencies, and internal/client/contractor tasks
- Communicate project scope and schedule to project resources and stakeholders
- Hold team members and contractors accountable for deliverables
- Manage project budget, scope, timeline, and change control
- Lead status meetings, capture updates, next steps, and risks/mitigation, and facilitate detailed small-group discussions
- Escalate issues and risks to the Manager and Project Sponsor
- Lead Steering Committee updates on executive-level status, budget, and risks
- Plan and manage transition from project execution to stable operations
- Facilitate AQP sessions
- Assist with drafting MS Project files for RFP responses
- Build comprehensive project plans with clear tasks, due dates, and owners
- Anticipate risks and develop and follow through on mitigation plans
- Ensure project owners understand and deliver their responsibilities
- Verify work quality and progress, proactively follow up on open items, and drive timely completion
- Keep teams aligned on priorities, sequence, timing, and red/yellow/green status
- Manage resources assigned to project teams and support special projects, implementations, and process improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four-year degree required; Management, Engineering, or Operations preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience
- Minimum of 5 years of Logistics/Warehousing Industry experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management System(s)
- English reading, writing, and verbal skills
- Strong interpersonal communication and language skills
- Ability to communicate with all business levels, from floor staff to executives
- Good mathematical skills
- E-commerce experience, including starting up small- to large-volume solutions
- Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures during warmer and colder months
- Willingness to work mandatory or voluntary overtime as dictated by business needs
- Ability to travel by plane and automobile
- Must meet the physical requirements involving hands, arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and computer/telephone use
- Preferred: 3PL environment experience
- Preferred: Experience with warehouse automation applications, including Pick to Light, Automated Sortation, Voice Pick, and conveyor design
- Preferred: PMP or other formal project management training
- AutoCAD is a plus
- Spanish is a plus

Comp & perks- Base pay range of $105,000.00–$130,000.00 annually
