About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute complex integrations or major EDI projects according to schedule and budget
Analyze DSV customers’ requirements and prepare technical specifications
Analyze and estimate work effort for implementing new solutions
Create or modify complex interfaces based on existing standard solutions and ensure quality using test scenarios
Create detailed specifications and documentation based on existing operational procedures
Maintain timely, efficient and proactive stakeholder communication regarding daily tasks and projects
Support business and the organization in identifying possible cooperation with the EDI department
Help and support other team members to achieve their potential within the department
Comply with internal regulations, procedures, laws and managers’ orders, including labor, remuneration and intellectual property regulations
Develop professional skills through training and constant self-education
Support the organization’s ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certification at the Montreal location
Perform assigned tasks supporting DSV’s quality, health, safety and environmental objectives
Incorporate sustainability, health and safety into day-to-day activities to reduce environmental impact and workplace incidents

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in EDI integration
Vast knowledge of EDI Standards (EDIFACT or ANSI X12)
Vast knowledge of XML
Vast Experience implementing IT projects with Agile methods
Knowledge of communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2 or HTTP
Ability to create collaborative engagements and active listening
Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration
Ability to multi-task, plan, prioritize and manage time effectively in order to meet goals and achieve results
Both a team builder and a team-player, adaptability in diverse environments
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Extensive expertise in EDI standards, particularly UN/EDIFACT and ANSI-X12
In-depth knowledge of communication protocols critical to EDI processes, including API, FTP, SFTP, and AS2, with proven hands-on implementation experience
Advanced proficiency in XML, XPATH, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot complex data flows
Comprehensive understanding of EDI transactions within Transport
Good command, both verbal and written, English skills
