About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate customer requirements into SOPs, process flowcharts, and warehouse layout plans.
- Establish standardized templates for operational efficiency, capacity, and workforce calculations.
- Lead end-to-end warehouse solution design and evaluate and implement AGVs, robotic arms, and automation equipment.
- Advance digital transformation initiatives.
- Use statistical data, simulation modeling, and Lean Six Sigma tools to analyze bottlenecks and assess capacity and solution feasibility.
- Define and validate project benefits using before-and-after analysis.
- Promote visual management at operational sites and support operations teams with implementation and crisis handling.
- Collaborate across sales, operations, and IT in accordance with company quality standards (DQP).
- Write success case studies.
- Maintain and manage buildings and public facilities, including utilities, fire protection, air conditioning, lighting, freight elevators, docks, access control, CCTV, buildings, and other infrastructure.
- Plan preventive maintenance, regular inspections, and corrective repairs.
- Report, respond to, investigate, and manage repairs for facility incidents such as water leaks, power outages, equipment failures, and building damage.
- Coordinate with landlords, engineering contractors, and internal departments.
- Manage contractor qualifications, site safety requirements, construction, acceptance inspections, and follow-up improvements.
- Identify and track occupational safety, fire, environmental, building, and facilities regulations.
- Ensure required filings, inspections, maintenance, and record retention are completed in compliance with regulations.
