About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead multiple large-scale solution design projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards
- Act as the primary solution design lead in customer engagements throughout the bid and proposal process
- Analyze customer requirements, operational data, and RFP documentation to develop robust and competitive solutions
- Interpret ambiguous customer information and data and develop effective assumptions where required
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across operations, finance, engineering, automation, IT, and commercial teams
- Develop and deliver customer presentations and solution proposals
- Support implementation planning, solution handover activities, and change management processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DSV's global solution design methodologies, standards, and tools
- Share best practices, market insights, and innovative concepts across the Global Solution Design community
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in contract logistics solution design, preferably within the third-party logistics industry
- Operations management, implementation management, and/or supply chain consulting experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, network design, operational modelling, pricing strategies, and financial analysis
- Strong commercial acumen and experience developing customer pricing models
- Knowledge of warehouse automation and logistics technology solutions is highly desirable
- Business fluency in English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent computer software skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VISIO and AutoCAD required
- Experience with MS Access, simulation software and/or network modeling software is a plus
