Senior Site Manager
DSV - Global Transport and Logistics. Lead two modern logistics sites in Venlo serving retail and fashion customers .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead two modern logistics sites in Venlo serving retail and fashion customers
- Oversee the entire operation across both locations
- Ensure people, processes and technology work together effectively
- Scale operations flexibly in line with customer and DSV ambitions
- Further develop automated warehouses, including AutoStore and Exotec
- Translate automation potential into improvements in performance, quality, capacity and efficiency
- Provide direction and develop people and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
- Build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Align operations, IT, automation, commercial teams and business objectives
- Manage financial results and KPIs for both sites
- Drive performance, workforce management, safety, quality and customer satisfaction
- Develop flexible and scalable solutions for changing customer needs
- Contribute to commercial and contractual development
- Develop an agile management team and workforce
- Create one clear direction across both locations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable experience managing large-scale logistics operations, preferably within a 3PL environment and an automated warehouse
- Strategic, commercial and analytical thinking
- Experience with, or a strong affinity for, warehouse automation
- Knowledge of AutoStore and/or Exotec is highly desirable
- Strong leadership skills, including connecting and developing people and empowering them to take responsibility
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
