About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, lead, and develop a regional Facility Assurance team in the DACH region
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to Facility Assurance Specialists
- Conduct employee, development, and feedback discussions
- Ensure efficient resource and capacity planning
- Manage technical facility operations, maintenance, and investment measures across the entire property life cycle
- Ensure implementation of FM standards, guidelines, and processes
- Monitor statutory operator obligations and relevant maintenance, servicing, and inspection processes
- Support technical incident management and sustainable problem resolution
- Support renovation, modernization, and expansion projects
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Prepare business-case analyses, reports, KPI evaluations, and cost and investment forecasts
- Introduce and further develop CAFM software and train relevant stakeholders
- Conduct strategic sourcing and manage and monitor external service providers
- Ensure compliance with agreed service levels and perform escalation management
- Conduct regular site inspections
- Collaborate with Facility Management teams, Operations, Business Services, and other internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical vocational training, master craftsperson qualification, technician qualification, or university degree
- Several years of professional experience in technical facility management, property management, or asset management
- Sound knowledge of operator responsibility and relevant statutory regulations
- Experience with technical systems and infrastructure across the entire property life cycle
- Experience negotiating and managing service provider contracts, service level agreements, and project assignments
- Knowledge of commercial lease agreements and the distinction between operator and maintenance obligations
- Initial or several years of experience managing employees or project teams
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- High decision-making and execution abilities
- Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor
- Solution-oriented, pragmatic, and independent working style
- Teamwork skills and assertiveness
- Good MS Office skills
- Experience with CAFM, ERP, or FM systems, ideally Planon
- Good English skills are advantageous
