About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and deliver training courses required by DSV and the client
- Develop and conduct role-specific competency training in systems and leadership development
- Provide ongoing support to employees in training areas
- Orient new associates and provide refresher training on site policies
- Monitor, measure, and report staff training and development plans and achievements
- Facilitate shift training on operations, quality, standards, and procedures
- Implement and plan on-the-job training programs and courses
- Conduct and supervise employee training and development programs
- Enter all training information into the database
- Ensure quality and training programs meet regulatory, DSV, and client requirements
- Keep site programs audit-ready for ISO and 5-Star requirements
- Maintain equipment and materials needed for training delivery and measurement
- Develop and implement staff training and development strategies and measurement systems
- Maintain equipment operator certifications, validations, and training files
- Issue certification cards, ID badges, and safety cards
- Answer associate questions and coordinate with management and operations
- Evaluate associate skill levels and provide retraining on updates
- Maintain accurate staffing changes, databases, training files, forms, orientation packets, and safety packets
- Complete tasks assigned by the Management Team
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience working in warehousing and/or logistics preferred
- 1-year clerical experience
- Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures during warmer and colder months
- Flexibility to change days and hours of work for training purposes
- Ability to work overtime as dictated by business, mandatory or voluntary
- Equipment operators must have certification received and equipment validation completed prior to operation
