About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight from vehicles and containers
Manage shipping documents and records
Perform quality checks on freight, part numbers, quantities and material condition
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical datacenter spare parts
Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
Oversee and perform server rack placement on the datacenter floor with laser measuring devices
Oversee and perform electronic component population and cabling installation in server racks
Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools
Operate material handling equipment
Oversee and perform cleanup activities to maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards
Interact with customers and onsite stakeholders
Delegate and coach team members
Ensure adherence to safety and process procedures, punctuality, reliability, quality and production goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of related experience
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Critical thinking and strong analytical skills
Experience with computers
Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
Ability to push, pull and lift frequently throughout the workday
Ability to operate straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks
Ability to use laser measuring devices, hand tools, power tools and measuring tools
Ability to read and follow diagrams and schematics
Flexibility and ability to cross-train in multiple departments
Effective delegation and coaching skills
Ability to work Monday-Friday, 6:00 am-2:30 pm
