About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare, distribute, reprint, track, and document labels for carton/pallet pickers
  • Coordinate outbound pulls and plugs with yard drivers using the Y/WMS system
  • Assist supervisors in verifying trailer chocking and green-light activation before movement or loading
  • Complete shipment data entry and issue seals to loaders
  • Verify seal, trailer, store, and other information for Bills of Lading
  • Schedule LTL carrier pickups where applicable
  • Print replenishment-driver work assignments
  • File outbound paperwork
  • Track downtime sheets with outbound supervisors
  • Communicate issues to outbound supervisors promptly
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure work area
  • Distribute and collect tools and equipment, including RF guns and bolt cutters
  • Operate powered equipment, RF scanners, computers, and printers safely
  • Follow company policies, ISO procedures, OSHA, and MSDS standards
  • Work overtime as dictated by business needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in inventory control or warehousing admin experience
  • Must have Excel experience and be computer literate
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • RF scanners
  • Proficient MS Office applications
  • English reading, writing, and verbal skills
  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills to verify quantities, count inventory, and handle, store, and distribute products
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull 11-20 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical activities including walking, climbing, standing, sitting, bending, stretching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, holding, and grasping
  • Preferred: 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment
  • Preferred: 1-2 years’ experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
