About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Initiate and coordinate projects aimed at setting up and optimising operational logistics processes within one or more sites in Southwest Netherlands
Manage a team of 8 application specialists and engineers
Lead development, implementation and maintenance of the Warehouse Management System and other applications
Guide the team in analysing process dependencies and defining and building corresponding configurations
Manage, coach and develop application specialists and engineers
Create and safeguard a culture focused on ownership, continuous improvement, quality and knowledge sharing
Recruit, select, onboard and guide new employees
Ensure a future-proof and professional team composition
Encourage continuous improvement of processes, systems and working methods within operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher professional education level (HBO)
Subject-specific logistics course
Insight into RedPrairie/JDA Dispatcher or proven knowledge of other WMS systems
Demonstrable work experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
Good communication skills in Dutch and English, spoken and written
Ability to take initiative, show courage and grow together with DSV
