About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise production associates performing loading and unloading of freight
- Account for materials using multiple systems
- Oversee assembly and installation of server racks and components
- Oversee, organize, and coordinate cycle counts, inventory replenishments, and material returns
- Ensure adequate safety measures are followed to protect personnel and property
- Advise subordinates with questions or problems related to work activities
- Monitor work and examine production areas for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures
- Recommend and implement documented procedure changes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
- Perform or assist subordinates in performing duties
- Maintain service level agreements and ensure safety protocol compliance
- Frequently interact with customers, peers, site stakeholders, and subordinates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Solid interpersonal and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
- Generally prefer 3-6 years’ experience in material handling operations
- Ability to perform all essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Knowledge of multiple internal and external systems and dashboards
- Ability to maintain service level agreements using existing systems and tools
- Ability to ensure subordinates follow safety protocols and standards
