About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Schedule, coordinate, and measure warehouse operations
- Measure standard operating processes within the facility
- Work from customer business schedules and develop daily schedules
- Measure performance against schedules
- Establish and maintain warehouse operational infrastructure
- Develop and maintain ISO-level operating guidelines and metrics for internal and external customers
- Develop and monitor productivity standards
- Establish and maintain daily operating schedules
- Coordinate daily cycle counts
- Develop and maintain training requirements for all employees
- Route trucks in and out of the warehouse when needed
- Load and unload trucks when necessary
- Check in and break down import freight when necessary
- Prepare documentation for exporting freight when necessary
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Provide customer service to prevent and resolve errors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location may affect compensation
- Ability to work Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m. third shift
- Ability to establish and maintain warehouse operational infrastructure
- Ability to develop and maintain ISO-level operating guidelines and metrics
- Ability to develop and monitor productivity standards
- Ability to establish and maintain daily operating schedules
- Ability to coordinate daily cycle counts
- Ability to develop and maintain employee training requirements
- Ability to route trucks in and out of the warehouse
- Ability to load and unload trucks when necessary
- Ability to check in and break down import freight
- Ability to prepare documentation for exporting freight
