About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support warehouse quality programs and report to the site General Manager
  • Maintain compliance with international, industry, and customer-specific quality standards
  • Analyze product and service issues and determine root causes
  • Manage and communicate change control processes across departments
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain the internal quality audit system
  • Assist with implementation and monitoring of quality systems, including ISO 9001:2008 compliance
  • Establish, implement, and evaluate quality management system metrics
  • Support customer service and quality departments with problem solving and improvement opportunities
  • Manage customer-driven continual improvement roadmaps
  • Drive continuous improvement programs and educate employees on those programs
  • Develop and conduct training on the quality system and related topics
  • Oversee document control, controlled documents, change notifications, and Quality Management System follow-up
  • Develop and implement record management, traceability, and trend-reporting systems
  • Identify cost improvement initiatives and manage controls for service levels and operational performance
  • Monitor KPIs for the assigned operation
  • Communicate issues to site leadership and implement solutions to minimize risk
  • Follow safety procedures, DSV policies, and applicable regulations
  • Work overtime as dictated by business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience in supply chain/logistics/warehousing
  • 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
  • Prior experience in safety observations/inspections and developing and implementing compliance strategies and plans
  • Knowledge of safety and health management systems and practices
  • Able to pass TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA)
  • Able to pass Transportation Security Training Requirements and recertify annually
  • Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of WMS functions
  • English reading, writing, and verbal skills
  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for inventory and product handling; intermediate skills for financials/budgeting
  • Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
  • Able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures
  • Preferred: prior MHE certification/knowledge of basic MHE operation
  • Preferred: 4-year college degree; equivalent experience or combination of education and experience considered
  • 3PL management experience strongly preferred
