About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Resolve WMS and equipment failures, whether human or otherwise
Take a proactive approach to define and correct errors
Answer questions and respond to team members and Super Users as needed
Provide ad hoc support to the team to resolve equipment and system errors
Deliver improvement proposals for warehouse activity and the WMS
Review WMS and operational processes to verify transactions are accurately executed
Create and submit daily reports on opened and closed system/operational issues
Assist warehouse staff in operational areas as needed
Work overtime as dictated by the business, whether mandatory or voluntary
Meet company objectives for performance, safety, and quality
Comply with corporate and site-specific policies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
1 years’ experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Be able to become MHE certified within 30 days of hire
Must be able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures during warmer and colder months
Intermediate computer skills
Proficient with MS Office Applications
Knowledge of WMS functions
English reading, writing, and verbal skills
Business writing proficiency
Intermediate mathematical skills for verifying product quantities and counting inventory
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
Ability to multi-task
Ability to take initiative and research best practices/efficiencies
Effective communication skills
Ability to develop innovative and proactive operational and systems solutions
Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment
Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull 11–20 pounds
Preferred: 1 year experience with Red Prairie/Cargo Write WMS
Preferred: 2–3 years warehouse/logistics support experience
