About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the air export team
Ensure efficient and timely delivery of cargo
Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and other service providers
Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and other relevant regulations
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, improve service quality, and enhance customer satisfaction
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including cargo delivery times, costs, and quality
Supervise air export coordinators and other support staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required
At least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is required
Fluency in English is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with logistics software and systems is required
Strong leadership and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with air freight regulations, customs requirements, and export controls
Knowledge of airline routes and schedules
Willingness to be on-call after regular hours, including weekends and some holidays
Prior experience in air exports and supervisory experience is highly desirable
Experience with leading air cargo logistics software and systems is preferred
Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
