About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
Manage shipping documents and records
Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, including part numbers, quantities and material condition
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical datacenter spare parts
Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
Oversee and perform server-rack placement on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices
Oversee and perform population of electronic components and cabling installation into server racks using diagrams and schematics
Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools
Operate straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks
Oversee and perform cleanup activities to maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards
Interact with customers and onsite stakeholders
Delegate and coach team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of related experience
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Critical thinking and strong analytical skills
Experience with computers
Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
Ability to push, pull and lift frequently throughout the workday
Ability to be flexible and cross-train in multiple departments within the datacenter
Effective delegation and coaching skills
Ability to travel to support the project while remaining based at the home site
