About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight and manage shipping documents and records
Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, including part numbers, quantities and material condition
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts at the datacenter
Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
Oversee and perform server rack placement on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices
Oversee and perform population of electronic components and cabling installation into server racks following diagrams and schematics
Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools
Operate material handling equipment including straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks
Perform and oversee cleanup activities to ensure safety, cleanliness and adherence to 5S standards
Provide effective material orders, customer service, inventory management and customer material movement support
Delegate and coach team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma
3-5 years of related experience required
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Critical thinking abilities and strong analytical skills
Experience with computers required
Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols required
Ability to push, pull and lift frequently throughout the workday
Ability to operate straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices and laser measuring devices
Ability to follow diagrams and schematics
Ability to be flexible and cross-train in multiple departments within the datacenter
