About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation that fulfills operational and customer demand and meets set targets
- Identify systems improvements and make recommendations for change
- Produce regular reports and statistics as required
- Ensure a clean and tidy working environment
- Communicate with staff about priorities, targets and operational requirements
- Report progress, key achievements and concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager
- Support team development and growth
- Collaborate with others
- Ensure equipment is stored properly at the end of each shift
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma or degree in Supply chain management, Logistics or Business Administration
- 2-3 years of leadership experience in warehousing environment
- Ability to ensure staff comply to health and safety regulations and work safely
- Ability to perform lifting and maneuvering of products and materials in accordance with proper handling procedures
