About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure consistent ways of working, high quality standards, and efficient processes
Further develop the business area through new customer acquisition, key account management, and the expansion of existing customer relationships
Develop and implement sales strategies and represent the company at customer meetings, events, and trade fairs
Support and coordinate national and international special transport operations, machinery installations/removals, and relocations
Ensure professional and cost-effective project execution, and support costing and pricing activities
Analyze market and competitive developments and derive suitable growth initiatives
Optimize, standardize, and digitize existing business processes
Build and maintain a strong network within the industry

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training in freight forwarding, logistics, or business administration, or a comparable qualification—preferred
Several years of professional experience in freight forwarding, transport logistics, or trade fair and event logistics—preferred
Initial leadership experience preferred
Strong commercial understanding, with experience in costing and pricing
Excellent written and spoken German and English
Entrepreneurial mindset and approach, along with a strong customer and service focus
Excellent communication, negotiation, and assertiveness skills
Strong organizational skills, initiative, and a solution-oriented approach to work
Willingness to travel within Austria and internationally
